Volunteer

Greetings everyone!
I just want to say “welcome back” to our old volunteers and give a warm welcome to new volunteers joining the Teen Health Center family. The Teen Health Center has many volunteer opportunities for Winthrop students and community members.

Volunteers contribute in many ways, here are just a few:

  • Create interactive health education games and activities
  • Research current health education facts and statistics
  • Plan and/or supervise events and activities
  • Promote Teen Health Center at community events
  • Become a mentor

The Center hosts a mandatory orientation twice a year, during the fall and spring semesters of Winthrop University’s school calendar year.

Sincerely,

Pauline McCollough, BSW
Volunteer Coordinator
