Youth aged 0 – 21 who live in Galveston or attend Galveston schools are eligible for Teen Health Center services. Clinics are conveniently located in schools so students miss less class. With a current, signed consent form, parents do not have to leave work to accompany their children to appointments unless they choose to. Thanks to the generosity of our partners and consistent with our mission to remove all barriers to access, services are provided free of charge.* 

​IMPORTANT: Teen Health clinics are not equipped to diagnose or treat potential cases of Coronavirus. To protect our staff and other patients, all patients will be screened on the phone and upon arrival. Anyone who has respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, wheezing, etc.) or who has had contact with a suspected or confirmed Coronavirus case will be sent to their primary care provider or an urgent care center.

Mental Health Care

Cognitive behavioral therapy, psychiatry, and other evidence-based treatments for a wide variety of mental health issues including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • ADHD and other behavior issues
  • Trauma and stress-related problems
  • Grief counseling
  • School and family problems

*participation physicals cost $5 and school district staff appointments cost $25
