Frequently-Asked Questions

  1. Is care free?

    Yes, thanks to our partnerships and the support Teen Health Center receives, we are able to provide free healthcare to all individuals age 0-21. There are a few low-cost items. For example, sports physicals are $5 and some medications may have a small cost associated, however, we have options for those who cannot pay.

  2. Do I need insurance?

    No, we provide care regardless of insurance status.

  3. Can my child be seen during school?

    Yes, our clinics are open 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and students may receive permission to miss class for an appointment. On-campus clinics may this easier and mean students miss less class time.

  4. What ages do you serve?

    We serve all youth ages 0-21.

  5. Does my child have to attend a GISD school?

    No, we are also open to students who are home-schooled or attend private schools.

  6. What if I don't know which clinic to choose?

    We’ll help! Call our main line at 409-761-3530 and we’ll direct you to the appropriate clinic.
