OUR STORY

For more than 40 years, the Teen Health Center has helped ensure that every child in Galveston has access to the health care they need to thrive.

Founded in 1985, the Teen Health Center was established to remove barriers that prevent children from receiving medical and mental health care. By bringing services directly to schools and providing care at no cost to families, the organization helps students stay healthy, succeed in school and build stronger emotional well-being.

Today, the Teen Health Center operates six school-based clinics throughout Galveston ISD, providing comprehensive medical, mental health and psychiatric services for children and young adults from birth through age 21.

Whether a child needs treatment for an illness, ongoing therapy, a sports physical or preventive care, our team is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care close to where students learn and families live.
